The Mayor of Oldham, Councillor Chauhan, said: “It was a pleasure to come together with the leader and people from different communities for the community Iftar at the European Islamic Centre.
“This event is a true reminder of how it brings people from all backgrounds closer.
“Celebrating the spirit of Ramadan together was a wonderful experience.
“A huge thank you to the European Islamic Centre for their hospitality.”
