As my Mayoral term draws to a close this week, I spent all day to visit the incredible residents of the Alexandra Ward – the very people who have made this journey possible.
I visited people who’ve supported me not just during my time as Mayor these past two years, but throughout the last 13 years of service in the Alexandra Ward.
These people provided me with personal support during a difficult time in my life, they acted as my family, not just as constituents. Their kindness has meant more than words can say.
It was important to me to say thank you in person and I did it . Some amazing friendships made over the last 13 years which I will always cherish #iloveoldham
