Visit to the Neonatal Unit at Royal Oldham Hospital with Agatha’s Space CIC

This morning, I had the privilege of visiting the Neonatal Unit at Royal Oldham Hospital, alongside Cllr Shaid Mushtaq, Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, to see the incredible work of Agatha’s Space CIC.

Women from the community have been sewing handmade clothes for premature babies, tiny garments that bring warmth, dignity and care to families during one of the most difficult moments of their lives.

This is what community leadership looks like. Not waiting for change, but creating it.
