‘You’re driving your dying loved one to A&E – and there’s nowhere to park’

“If our hospitals can give people the world’s first IVF baby – why can’t we solve this parking issue?” Coun Chauhan asked fellow elected members at a chaotic full council meeting on Wednesday, November 12. “Let me be clear this is not about bashing the hospital and their staff. Once again we are seeing the effects of systemic underfunding. This is yet another example of NHS services becoming a postcode lottery.”
